After serving as an Ivy Tech Community College instructor and administrator for eight years, Rita Jackson understands the doors that can be unlocked with education. Rita is not only a Circle of Ivy member but has also established three scholarship endowments in her state plan for Ivy Tech in memory of several family members.

"For those students who are not prepared or do not have the resources to enter a four-year college, Ivy Tech can be a welcome stepping stone towards future personal and financial goals," she shared.

"None of the family members I have honored through the endowed scholarship had a college degree, but all knew the importance of achieving a college degree and how it can give hope."
